At Ocean State Hockey, we tailor our programs to ensure that you'll be a better hockey player after spending your off-season with us. Our six-week Elite Summer Training Skate & Conditioning Program runs from July 22-August 30, 2013 and combines on-ice skill work with top-level off-ice training. Each division meets Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for both ice and off-ice work with an additional off-ice speed session on Fridays at the Wide World of Indoor Sports facility in North Smithfield, RI.
Each division will have fewer than 25 skaters, and all on-ice sessions will be conducted by Toby O'Brien (U.S./NCAA Scout for the Buffalo Sabres). Clark Donatelli (former U.S. Olympian and Head Coach of the ECHL Wheeling Nailers) will join Toby on the ice and Mike Macchioni of NorthEast Sports Training will run the off-ice conditioning work. The founder of NEST, Mike works with athletes of all types, but is well-known for his hockey-specific training. He works with the Boston Bruins and also develops their players with the Providence Bruins.
